The new place is starting to feel like a home, although nothing will ever be able to replace Wat Opot. Being with each other again, however, is at least the start of recapturing the Watopotian Soul.
And what better way to do that than sharing a meal? Fortunately, this place has a large kitchen.for food preparation…
But still lacks a large dining room table to share the meals.
So far there have been 12 Watopotian Alumni who have found their way here and next week Dara and I will be starting the home visits of the children who have been reunited with their families or placed in other facilities.
It feels good to be back again, even though the temperature in the afternoon is usually over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37.778 degrees C). I will keep you posted on our progress in starting up the new NGO as it happens. I know there are many questions and concerns over how and why things are as they are and I will try to answer those concerns in future updates.
Thanks for checking in! If you leave your questions in the comment section below, I will be able to share the answers with everyone.
The Watopotians
Thankyou Wayne for the updates.
