Phnom Penh has grown so much in the past couple of years that I now get lost in a city that I once could walk around with confidence, easily identifying my location by looking for one of only a few five-story structures that made up its skyline. Today, however, the buildings below sit on a piece of land that once was the slum area where I would visit with my medical bag.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

As impressive as it looks in the daytime, the night scene is even more spectacular, with tourist ferries slowly churning the waters of the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

Several of the Wat Opot High School students were staying in town for the week-end for a seminar on Anger Management, so we decided to pack our evening meal and take them out on one of the boats that are for hire by the hour for only $30.00.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

A cool evening breeze made the excursion even more enjoyable after yet another scorching hot day.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

We were especially happy that Scott could join us for the occasion. He is often not seen because he is the one taking the pictures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
