Fear not the darkness…

for it is only in the darkest of times

that we find ourselves standing at the Threshold

of an Awakening to Truth

and the Transformation of ignorance

into Wisdom and Compassion.

Although this website is meant to have a positive effect on our lives, it would not be fair to. exclude the very real problems that many young people face, especially those who are HIV+. Giving up is something we all feel like doing at times and usually, it is not something we admit to. We must keep a watchful eye on each other as well as an open ear to listen for danger signs. Life can be difficult but there is always a way out if we have patience. Good relationships are important in these times and that is why this website is being developed, with the hope that we as Watopotians remain a supportive community.

We have lost many of our members over the years, however, three of them only recently departed from us. I would like to acknowledge them here:

Phanya
David
Somnang

Although they leave a large void in our lives, let their deaths be a constant reminder to us all, that we are responsible for each other, for we are all one family… we are the WATOPOTIANS!
