This past Saturday (October 18th)we were able to take a group of Watopotians out for dinner at one of Phnom Penh’s popular resturants. Josh and Scott were able to to join us for the occassion, which included six of the seven University students who are receiving full or partial financial assitence with their university fees.

Of the six students pictured above, all but one is employed. Some attend classes in the evenings while others have classes on the weekends. We will be doing biographies on each one at a later time.

After the dinner we came back to my place for a meeting to discuss the needs of each student. Mr. Dara asked them to introduced themself and I insisted that they do it in English, since most of them have stopped speaking it. The biggest need for all of them was a laptop computer, because most assignments are now given online and books are a thing of the past.
This coming weekend we will be going out to Prey Veng to promote the daycae center. I will let you know how that goes in the next post.
The SAHAKA donation page is up to date for those who may want to help us in this coming year with a tax-deductible donation. If you live in Cambodia, you can make a QR donation to the SAHAKA FOUNDATION bank account.

We are very appreciative of the support we have already received. Without it, we could not make these life-changing opportunities available for these children who are dependant on SAHAKA support.
NAMASTE
